Naberat, Anne de, 1566?-1630

French conventual chaplain of the langue of Auvergne of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem. Anne de Naberat was Commander of the Commandery of Villejésus and Lesperdilliere, of Lieudieu, before being provided with the priory of Saint-Jean d'Aix-en-Provence on May 24, 1602. He left his functions as Commander of Ville-Jésus (Charente) for those of the Temple of Ayen (Ayen, Corrèze) which he took in 1616. He was appointed visitor general of the grand priory of Saint Gilles from 1613 to 1621. For her service and literary work he was named honorary counselor and almoner to King Louis XIII in 1610 and then in 1627 counselor and almoner serving the Queen Anne, though he was in the service of the queen as early as October 12, 1623.
