Plante, Julian G., 1938-2023
Executive Director at the Monastic Manuscript Microfilm Library (MMML) in Collegeville from 1972 until 1992. He led the expansion of the organization's work into Ethiopian manuscripts in the early years of his tenure while overseeing a flourishing range of projects throughout Europe, including the work in Malta and the founding of the Malta Study Center. He earned a bachelor's (1961) from Saint John's University, and a master's (1963) and doctorate (1972) from Fordham.
