Gratian, active 12th century. Decretum
Authoritative compilation of various texts on canon law that was composed between the 1120s and roughly 1140. It was the first of six volumes produced from the twelfth to fourteenth centuries. The work is divided into three parts: ministeria, negotia, and sacramenta.
