Durand, Laurent, 1712?-1763

Laurent Durand (1712?-1763) from Auxerre, who apprenticed to the printer Jacques Chardon in Paris in 1738 at the age of 25. Married Élisabeth Carbonnier, daughter of François Jouenne, bookseller and print dealer in Paris. She succeeded him after his death. Stated he was 40 years also on January 1, 1752 andd died May 12, 1763.
